Our Celebration Diamonds

Firstly and most importantly - our diamonds are genuine* and real** they have all the exact same properties of natural mined diamonds [same hardness, same chemical make-up, same optical properties, same physical characteristics etc:] and being so, it is extremely difficult to tell between them without specialist equipment.

Although 'man-made' created in a laboratory, they are most definitely not synthetic, or anything like CZ (cubic zirconium), Moissanite (silicon carbide) or the many faux diamonds which exist.

Celebration Diamonds offer two types of 'created' diamonds - diamonds made from the umbilical cord of new-born babies and diamonds made from hair. We also offer two colours - yellow and blue. The most usual outcome is canary yellow . Unfortunately the process making Blue is much more elaborate with higher costs.

In our opinion, the best colour and cut - offering the brightest sparkle and scintillating fire expected from diamonds, is made from the canary crystal cut with 58 facets - termed 'brilliant' (round). We make diamonds ranging from 0.25 carat to 2 carat in weight, (blue's are offered between 0.25 carat and 0.8 carat in weight). Prices are listed separately.

The very first diamond made in the world from the umbilical cord of a baby, was made by our parent company - Phoenix Diamonds.

Diamonds made from hair
Our first canary coloured 'hair' diamond was made a few years ago, from 35-40 grams of beard trimmings. It took some time to collect the amount estimated to be needed and we weren't sure of the size of diamond we could attain.
