Acquiring the Umbilical Cord.
This is a new area for us. You may have to mention in the early stages of pregnancy or later that you wish to have the umbilical cord retained for the manufacture of a celebration diamond. We need as much of the cord as possible but not the full placenta. The cord should be deep-frozen as soon as possible in a small poly-bag or a small sealable container will do. This will be collected by our courier.
The special order form will need to be completed and a 50% deposit paid, posted to our head office. The arrangements will be made with your consent to collect the cord and we will then start the processing.
By now you will know the process takes a long time. If there are any problems at all, we will contact you.
When the diamond has been cut and polished, we will arrange personal delivery with you.
